We're help clients in San Diego optimize their online dating profiles with new dating profile photos, custom bio copywriting and 1-on-1 coaching. It's the easiest way to get more matches on dating apps like Tinder, Bumble & Hinge.
"I went from getting 1-2 matches per day to 20+. I'm honestly stunned."
- Marion K, 29
What photos are you using on your current dating profiles? Chances are you're using a mix of awkward, out-of-date, low-quality photos that just don't show how awesome you really are. We hate to say it - but that won't get you very far, especially dating in San Diego.
Our clients hire us to deliver stunning, candid and authentic profile photos that are specifically optimized for online dating in the San Diego area. We work specifically with beginners, so even if this is your first photoshoot, we can help you look confident and charismatic on camera.
Because every online dating app prioritizes photos as the main deciding factor for matching. You could look like Brad Pitt in real life, but if your photos suck, you're not going to be connecting with many people.
Most people don't have great photos of themselves. So we scrap together whatever old photos we can find and hope for the best. We know these awkward selfies don't do us justice, but it's all we have.
An online dating photographer will help showcase all the great things you bring to the table. They'll show off your charisma, confidence and personality. The'll find all your best angles, help you look natural and deliver stunning photos that will stop people in their tracks.
Do you feel like you're getting the matches you deserve? Do you find yourself endlessly swiping and only getting a few matches each day?
We work with men and women of all ages, orientations and backgrounds. And while we think everyone could benefit from having great photos of themselves, there's a few areas where photos can really make a difference:
Bio Copywriting: The right bio can make or break your profile. That's why we've partnered with a professional copywriter to write an original, witty, custom-tailored bio based on your unique personality and goals.
* Included in Pro and All-Star packages
Relationship Coaching: Having the right mindset is key when dating. That's why we've partnered with Kimberly Hill (a stellar dating & relationship coach) to offer a complimentary 45-minute Zoom session for our clients. Kimberly works with professional men who are single and wanting to get back into the dating scene, but are unsure where to start, and how to move forward with clarity.
* Included in All-Star package
Personal Stylist/Shopper: Want to make sure you're dressing to impress? A personal stylist can work with you (either in-person or over Zoom) to coordinate your outfits.
Note: This isn't something we currently offer in-house, but we can refer you to the right people.
Ever wondered why some people in San Diego do better on apps like Tinder, Bumble and Hinge than others? It all comes down to how they present themselves online. The better your profile is, the better your results will be.
We've photographed hundreds of clients over the last 3 years and the results are always the same. If you put more effort into your profile, both the quantity and quality of your matches will increase.
The best way we can describe our style is "lifestyle". It's natural. Authentic. Real. Genuine. Unstaged.
It's not supposed to look like you hired someone to take photos of you all day... It should look like were out on the town, enjoying yourself, looking your best and one of your friends just happened to snap a photo with their fancy camera.
We treat our clients like friends during the shoot. We get you to laugh, open up and not take yourself too seriously. This natural laughter helps the photos look authentic and less staged.
We also let you change outfits during the shoot, giving you multiple different "looks". We then pair those with different backdrops so the photos don't look like they were taken all on the same day.
After all our research we've developed a recipe that produces high-impact dating profile photos. It's not rocket science, but here's the secret sauce:
Basically, people just want to see that you're a good, trustworthy person with hobbies, a career and a life.
We'll find all of your best angles and photograph you looking your very best. Your photos will showcase all of your best attributes, while highlighting your charm, personality and confidence.
We've worked with well over 300 clients since 2018. In this time, we've learned a LOT about what works (and what doesn't). We continuously try to improve our understanding of effective dating photography, including:
Dating apps don't have built-in analytics, so we've built a custom testing framework that shows our how to accurately test/measure the performance of their photos, allowing them to see which photos work best for them.
After 6 weeks we follow up to learn what worked (and what didn't). This helps us better understand trends and seasonality data. It also helps us fine-tune our approach, allowing future clients to benefit from the learnings.
While you could go for the tourist-in-your-own-city look (aka Balboa Park or The Gaslamp), we prefer to bring you to locations that have beautiful backdrops that aren't overused.
Whether you're in Caramel Valley or Paradise Hills, we've chosen locations that offer a mix of beautiful scenery, charming rustic exteriors, urban vibes and quaint coffee shops.
This totally depends on your overall goals and the "vibe" you're trying to convey.
Want to get your matches thinking about what your first date could be like? Let's snap some photos of you in front of a cozy, trendy coffee shop to plant the idea of a coffee-date in their minds.
Want to communicate how important art, music and culture is to you? Let's snap some trendy laughing photos with some work by The Mural Co. in the background.
Want to show off your physique without it screaming "gym-bro"? Let's get a shot of you on the street with your gym bag and tank-top, en-route to the gym.
Your photos should be as unique to you and your goals - and we can help you get there.
One of the most important parts of our job is to give you great photos with perfect lighting and a variety of backdrops.
In order to achieve that we choose areas in town that offer access a variety of different "looks" all within a 1-2 block radius. This way we have access to rustic, trendy, outdoorsy and up-scale looks all without having to drive to another area of town.
We also know these areas like the back of our hands, so we know where the light is going to fall at different areas of the day.
We also choose areas that have coffee shops nearby for easy access to restrooms (for changing outfits).
We believe your photos should be as unique as you are, but there's some universal faux-pas that we advise against.
Don't use any photos of you holding fish.
Believe it or not, this is one of the most common mistakes we see. Most guys don't have many photos of themselves to choose from, but almost every guy has an old photo from a fishing trip where they caught an epic carp. But do you know what people think when they see that photo?
"How original. Another fish-man."
"Ew, his hands probably smell like fish."
"Cool, he's going to invite me to a boring fishing trip."
Don't use awkward bathroom selfies.
The bathroom selfie should be reserved for pre-teens and Kardashians. We take bathroom selfies when our friends don't take photos of us. We think "better to have something than nothing at all!" Wrong. From our panel testing, bathroom selfies perform some of the worst out of all the photos we see on dating apps.
Don't awkwardly crop your ex out.
We get it. You've been in a relationship for a while and maybe don't have any recent photos of yourself. But guess what? We don't want to see your ex's shoulder poking into the frame.
Don't use photos where we can't tell who you are.
It's okay to have one or two group photos, but if the rest of your photos are so unclear that we can't tell who's who in the photo, it's time to ditch it.
Get the most out of your new profile photos and use them on other online platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. Having a cohesive personal brand not only helps you stand out locally in

I was getting matches only a few matches a day and the conversations went nowhere.
After updating my dating profile with the new photos my matches went through the roof, and girls started messaging me first (which has never happened before).
I use these profile photos everywhere now. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this."

I first picked up a camera back in 2011 while attending high school in Beirut, Lebanon. I remember my teacher back then had a big influence on me and encouraged me to continue practicing.
My passion for photography really took off while I lived in Rome. I would walk for hours taking photos of the beautiful cobble-stoned streets and architecture. Ever since then I have been shooting portraits professionally and working with brands across the US.

I believe that now, more than ever, there is a need to have a good presence online, and for that presence to be as accurate and well done as possible.
I always take my camera to gatherings with friends or just to meet someone for a coffee because that is when I have gotten some of my best portraits.
I really strive to make my subjects feel comfortable through humor. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful in their own skin and I think I have a special talent to do so.
Holsem Coffee, 2911 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92104
I like this area because it is not the usual downtown setting and has a lot of cool little streets, coffee shops, book stores and more. I feel like the photos feel more genuine in this area as well.
We understand that this is a fairly new concept, but don't worry - our team is here to help you every step of the way! We've answered a few common questions below, but if you want a full breakdown on our process, check out our FAQ page (below).
